I live on the north Oregon coast. This was shot from my deck facing NW. There were many dark clouds in the sky so the comet was playing peek a boo between the clouds. That is Neahkahnie Mtn. below the comet & the comet was only visible for about 25 mins. before going behind the mountain. But what an exciting event.
