Image taken from the Devisdale, a park located in Bowdon, outside Altrincham, Cheshire. Though the site is suburban, it is clear of street lighting, and is an acceptable observing site. Limiting magnitude on dark nights is 5m.0, and the Milky Way is not normally visible.
