I was cursing the cloud cover all night long as I waited the coming of dawn and a chance to glimpse and image the comet. Cloud cover in my locale was worst to the northeast, which was precisely my area of interest that morning. Fortunately, the cover thinned long enough for me to capture a number of images. This is but one of a series of 30 second exposures I captured between the hours of 05:11 and 05:24 EDT.

Meade Series 6000 70mm Petzval APO Refractor, 350mm, f/5.0 on an Orion HDX-110 equatorial mount
ZWO ASI071MC Pro CMOS camera with 4.78micron pixels binned 1 X 1, image scale 2.82 arc seconds per pixel
This is a single 30 second exposure

Processed using Nebulosity 4.0 and finished in Photoshop Elements 12.0 with ProDigital Software astro imaging tools add-on.
