I am always interested in viewing and photographing interesting celestial events. The evening of July 14 was my second attempt at Neowise. I dug an old manual lens out of storage that I felt would give better results than my first attempt the night before. This image was one of the last in the series taken shortly before the earth's rotation took the comet into the trees. The sky had darkened accentuating the tail and the stars in the background. The camera fixed on the tripod and long exposure results in slight star trails.
