I love to watch the moonrise at the horizon. and look at Venus!!!! what a bonus.
There is that awe inspiring moment when you notice moon as it makes its first appearance. it takes my breath away -it never ceases to delight me.
I had missed the moonrise at the horizon the night before on July 4th and was disappointed.
But I kew that I would get a second chance of moonrise July 5th because if I was lucky it would show 99% full.
I was incredibly surprised at the pinkish reddish as it started to rise. It was unexpected, but I believe that the weather was very humid and it must have impacted color at the horizon?
