To view the NE within my home area, most of the locations are looking over major light pollution. I might have caught it in a darker sky if I didn't take the time to find it first with binoculars...before I brought out my camera gear. I wasted this time, as it was clearly visible to my naked eye, even though I was looking through light and smoke-filled atmosphere. I went back to my car to get the gear and then set-up to catch a bit of the foreground wetlands.
