This image was taken by Magdalena Ridge Observatory Interferometer staff members Dylan Etscorn and Colleen Gino from a backyard in the village of San Antonio, about 10 miles south of Socorro, NM. They were using MROI's Bachman-Challener Outreach Telescope, a Takahashi 4" refractor purchased with funds donated by Bachman/Challener. The Magdalena Ridge Observatory is a research branch of New Mexico Tech, located in Socorro, New Mexico.
