What kind of space photography can you do from your front porch in the brightly-lit Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex?
After a lot of agonizing effort, I achieved proof-of-concept photos with a Canon EOS T6i, 8" Orion brand dobsonian telescope, and a windy but clear Texas atmosphere. I'm very pleased with the results, even though the wind and heavy Gulf air is like taking photos through motor oil.
