The waxing crescent moon was about 374,333 Km away but when it is photographed like this, it seems the moon is just outside your window. How i wish i could stretch my hands out from the window and feel the moon. It may be possible in my wildest dreams.

This moon was descending in the north west and was visible from my unit at about 20% illuminated. The earthshine on Moon was still visible and the moon set later about an hour after i had taken this picture.
