Comet Lemmon has passed by Alphard (Alpha Hydrae) and is now less than 1° east of the orange giant (I missed the actual conjunction due to clouds!).
What a fine color contrast! Reminds me of the exquisite double star Albireo in Cygnus.
The bad news is the comet appears to be dimming. My estimation puts it at approx Mag +7.
