It was the June Solstice in Singapore yesterday where it is the longest day of the year in terms of daylight and also referred to as the summer solstice. Interestingly is in both the northern and eastern hemispheres, located immediately north of the Equator, This image shows the sun going descending down in the north west of Singapore between 2 high rise flats about 30 storeys high , which is also situated at the border with South Malaysia. It is also the rainy season here at the moment with occasional heavy rain in between the days. The rain cloud could be seen forming above when the sun was setting, fortunately I was able to see the sunset clearly.
