Peak fireflies

I think this is the peak! Crazy storms of fireflies were making their sweet bioluminescent love last night in the field near our house — under a spectacular view of the Milky Way and Jupiter, with a few thin clouds. Yeah. Welcome to summer! 😃

Exif: f/1.4 ~ ISO 800 ~ 20 seconds X 389 frames for foreground and fireflies; 40 frames for Milky Way. All shot as part of one continuous sequence from one tripod location, 10pm - 12:15. Stacked in Sequator, blended in Photoshop
