At one look when I had shared this image with my friends here , almost all of them told me it is the MOON. But I myself was surprised when I used my camera to the max zoom, it is actually planet venus in the waxing crescent phase this morning. I had read earlier from Earthsky that we were will be able to see the crescent with telescope. Since I dont own a telescope, my camera had just done the job with its telephoto lens. I was amazed that I could actually see Venus as a crescent. The planet was very bright when it ascended from the East here this morning.
