The waning crescent moon and planet Venus this morning just before sunrise in the ENE direction. The moon's illuminated side is facing Venus. It was a beautiful sight to behold to just see the pair hanging in the morning sky. The moon was about 5.7% illuminated and distance from Earth was 396,778 km. Interestingly with my camera, I was able to see the Venus in its waxing crescent phase which i will share in my another submission.
