A pair of Javan myna (Acridotheres javanicus), a member of the starling family perched on a branch of the Trumpet Tree or Pink Poui but sometimes referred to as “Singapore’s cherry blossoms”. This is the Tabebuia rosea, a perennial tree in Singapore and the word “rosea” in its genus name refers to the rose-coloured petals of the flower. The flower is not a rose but a Begonia.

Coming to the birds, not sure what they are up to but definitely they are not observing any social distance between them and I wonder what is the myna whispering to the other one. And also not sure if they are of the same gender or a couple. Interestingly I managed to get one single shot when one of the bird was stretching its wings.
