This photo was captured from my smartphone. Those clearly visible to the naked eye are the smallest constellation, the Southern Cross and the pointer stars Hadar and Rigel Kentaurus (Alpha Centauri) to the left of the cross which can be seen above the flats. With contrast and brightness correction all the other stars could be seen in this photo. It was just an experiment and this phone did some justice.
