Mountain fog lit by the rising moon, a meteor flashing by the Milky Way core — all over a meadow full of buttercups and Ragged Robin.
I went to this field down the road from my house just to try photographing fireflies someplace new. I got some good firefly pics earlier in the evening, but they had all gone to sleep — blissfully exhausted, no doubt, from their luminous mating dance — by the time this scene presented itself at 2 a.m.....
