Comet C/2019 U6 (Lemmon) passed near 5th-magnitude 6 Puppis, which helped in my naked-eye detection of the comet at magnitude 6.6. Keen averted vision was required. The comet is now drifting away from the beautiful open star cluster M46 in Puppis, and is sporting an ~30' tail visible in binoculars.
