Capturing Venus crescent in Tucson AZ
Seeing conditions were good but not great, a little windy bouncing everything and the usual Tucson dust. Venus is above and the rising Mercury is easily visible in below just above the tree tops. The Venus image is a stack of 1 min of video and is a just a bit more than 7% illumination.

When I started to set up for the evening I found one off the local citizens appearing to want to join me in the observations- see: flic.kr/p/2j3MTUY These wolf spiders are aggressive and wanted to fight to remain where it was.

This is a Skywatcher 180 mm mounted on a Vixen SXP.
