Venus and Mercury shortly after sunset. Despite unfavorable atmospheric conditions (humidity and light clouds), I was able to capture an image of Mercury just above the horizon. Venus is the bright planet in the upper left. If you look near the bottom of the photo in the center where there is a dip in the tree line, you will see Mercury peering through a wisp of clouds. You need an unobstructed view of the horizon to find Mercury. For reference, sunset was at 8:13 PM.
