Post-Sunset Reflections from Cloud Stripes over Mutare
On Monday 11th May there were unusual and sometimes multiple regularly spaced stipes of altostratus cloud in the vicinity of Mutare which persisted from sunrise until after sunset. These reflected beautiful post-sunset colors from half an hour after sundown until dusk.
This composite shows reflections from cloud stripes to the south-west of the sunset point (top) and from others above the opposite horizon.
