The waxing gibbous moon seen above my flat yesterday night. After days of rain clouds shrouding the night skies here in Singapore, finally got a glimpse of the moon for a brief period. Without the use of high end telescope or equipment, despite using this camera for many years, it is really amazing that the craters and mare could be seen with such details which is good enough to pin point the location. There is really no need of a telescope to capture the moon for beginners, this camera could do the job for the basics.
