It was an unusually clear night on May 2nd, and Venus was just gorgeous to behold, so, I spent a good hour and a half attempting to get a quality photo with the equipment I have. With the settings described, I was able to get this nice view of the waning crescent. I hope that you are able to see it for yourself in the heavens. Thanks again to EarthSky for all your efforts to give us this platform to share the heavenly wonders that we see from around the world, with all sorts of equipment, under all sorts of conditions.

Galaxy J6 Mobile Phone Camera, in a Solomark Cellphone Holder with dilating eyepiece/coupler, shooting through a basic refractor telescope, with steady shutter tap, dead on facing the Venus image, which was in the center of the scope field. Galaxy camera settings: Pro mode, ISO 100, Brightness -2.0, Sunlight setting 5500K, with Full screen image setting.
