When I arrived at the location, a college research station on the Great Bay in NJ, the sky was blue with white clouds. I spent some time taking a Long Exposure photograph of the clouds. The forcast was for thunderstorms coming in from the west, so I monitored a weather app on my phone which showed that it was on the way. Approx. 30 minutes from my first photograph the sky darkened, the wind picked up, and hail and rain fell. I had to protect my camera, but I was soaked. I just wish there was lightning. This was great fun!
