Milkyway season 2020 is now open!
The bright spot right over the mountain is the planet Jupiter.
On a crisp clear night while my deep sky rig was taking photos of our galactic neighbors (Bodes and Cigar galaxy), my other setup was photographing a timelapse of our own galaxy traversing the night sky. This image is a still from the timelapse.
Sky - 8 shots stacked at ISO6400, 15sec
Ground - 8 shots stacked (ISO6400, 15 sec) + 1 shot blend from twilight (ISO400, 15 sec).
