This slightly glowing trail across the sky was seen by hundreds of people across the south west UK. It went from the West horizon to the East horizon and you could see the curviture of the Earth on it. It could not be a powerfull lazer as it curved. It stayed in the exact same spot for about 2 hours which rules out the sun though the horizon then it just vanished. My own threary is that it was ice crystals high in the stratophere forming like a Saturn ring. Early last year I witnessed a large metorite which streaked across the sky from West to East leaving a green trail and when it was going away from me you could see a red heat glow coming out the back of it. Nobody else seen it. There has rcently been some funny sky activity around Bristol lately and a claimed UFO sighting over Bristol in the last couple of weeks.
