The White-collared Kingfisher (Todiramphus chloris) , believed to be one of the eight documented kingfisher species in Singapore at a distance from my flat. It is distinguished by its aquamarine to turquoise-coloured upper parts and head, black bill and feet and white breast and belly. The bird was quite rare at least to me, i managed to admire it for a full 15 mins before it flew off from the branch.
