I went out last night and spent some time capturing the SuperMoon rise above the Cascades.
The moon rose a little further away from Mt. Rainier than I would have liked but still offered up some nice images.
Moonrise was at 7:32pm and sunset was at 7:48pm which made for some great light allowing me to capture the foreground without blowing out the moon. This image was captured about 2 minutes after sunset capturing the SuperMoon rising above the Cascade mountain range just north of Mt. Rainier, Washington
