The Asian glossy starling is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Took this picture of a sole Asian Glossy Starling just outside my flat resting on a lamppost. The starling usually appears in pairs or a group and they could be mistaken for crows. However crows are much larger in size as compared to starlings.
