After 4 consecutive nights of cloudy skies while Venus was passing The Pleiades, last night the atmosphere granted me a brief window through a reasonably clear sky not long before the two would disappear for the night behind that tree. As fate would have it, I was on the roof shooting south and just happened to turn around in time to not miss this opportunity. Sometimes you just get lucky!
