The Apennines and the Alps define the eastern boundary of the Sea of Rains. (North is down in this image; the Moon is in my Northern sky tonight)
The Lunar "V" can be seen at the top of the image. Note how far from it is from the terminator at exactly First Quarter. This is due to the -8° libration in longitude!
