A friend of mine asked me why in some star trails pictures some stars seem to move in one direction while others go to a different direction. I was trying to explain but thought that it would be easier and self explanatory if I would take a star trails picture facing North and the compare it with another picture facing south and this is what I got ! Just added the tips of the "arrows" on two or three star trails to show that when you look North the start seem to move counterclockwise and when you are looking South they "move" in a clockwise direction.
