This photo was taken along the Barkhamsted Reservoir in Connecticut, USA. Normally the light pollution is too great to capture the stars as well. However, due to the current suspension of most local businesses for COVID-19 the opportunity presented itself. The waxing crescent moon with Venus overlooking and an aircraft flying through the upper left corner.

Used a Nikon D7500 DSLR with a Sigma 50mm ART lens. The settings were: f/4, ISO640 and an eight second exposure.

Post was done in photoshop and only did a quick "auto" adjustment.
