We've had frequent snow storms and bitter cold this winter in the mountains of Colorado so I haven't been able to get out to my favorite viewing sites, but we have a beautiful view of the Western sky on my street so I went out with my 8mm 180 degree lens to see what I could capture. I had to crop out the edges because there was no way to block out the garish street lamp on my corner, but you can clearly see Sirius, Orion, Taurus, the Pleiades, Venus just above the horizon and The Twins and Auriga and part of Perseus above. A truly beautiful night sky over snowy, cold Colorado.
