I haven't been able to get out to my favorite star watching sites recently, so I was really happy to be able to watch Orion and friends (Pollux, Castor, Sirius, Lepus,Taurus, Pleiades and Venus) from my front yard, despite the glare of town lights and the moon. Fortunately my house is in a little valley so we're protected from the glare of downtown. Unfortunately, my 14 mm lens is a fisheye and distorts the stars along the edges...
Nikon D750 with Sigma 14mm lens at F1.8, ISO 100 for 3 seconds.
In Photoshop, sharpened and increased contrast in sky to make stars more visible and decreased contrast in the snow.
