This Pink Verga photo was taken from Wahweap Overlook outside of Page, AZ shortly before sunset. Slivers of winding Lake Powell are in the foreground. Navajo Mountain and Tower Butte are poking their heads above the vermillion cliffs. It's rare to see Navajo Mountain colored so completely, and even rarer to witness a pink virga.
Nikon D750, Tamron 70-200 mm lens at 70 mm, NiSi 2-stop soft graduated neutral density filter
Raw photo processed in Lightroom, NIK Dfine for noise reduction, Photoshop for cleaning a few moisture and dust spots. Slightly cropped. The photo was reduced in size considerably to meet the 10 Mb upload limit. The original raw to jpeg was 14 Mb.
