The rose-ringed parakeet commonly known as the ring-necked parakeet seen perching on a tree this afternoon here in Singapore. The bird is a medium-sized parrot in the genus Psittacula, of the family Psittacidae. The male has a dark ring around its neck and their green colour is so beautiful with its long tail.
