Today's Moon and Sun captured when each was transiting the Meridian (highest point in the sky).
The Moon will reach Last Quarter when it's on the other side of the Earth from me.
The filament on the Sun's NW limb has not yet lifted off the Chromosphere. If it survives it's trip around the limb it may turn into a nice prominence!
