Full Moon Rising
Two hours before Penumbral Eclipse maximum on Friday evening the first Full Moon of the decade was recorded rising above the summit of a hill in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. In this photograph, taken at 6.57 pm, the Moon is just beginning to appear above the elevated horizon with beautiful reflections of light from fast moving clouds above. The lone bright star is Procyon in Canis Minor.
