The waxing cresent moon at 35% illuminated and about 404410 km when this photo was captured from Nikon Coolpix P900 camera. Without the aid of telescope, the camera was able to capture the details of the moon. And it was exciting to capture and record the first moon phase of Year 2020 on New Year's Day tonight !
