Waxing Moon and Venus after Sunset
On 30th December the waxing crescent Moon, now far above Venus, was photographed as the Sun was setting and again ten minutes later after Venus became clearly visible in the sunset twilight sky. The Sun and Moon at sunset were still not too far apart to appear in same field of view. Circling swallows add interest to both scenes.
