Crescent Moon and Venus at Moment of Sunset
The Mutare sky was cloudy with rain for the Moon-Venus conjunction of December 28th. This evening (29th) clear skies with excellent visibility enabled this unusual picture to be taken of the daytime pair high in the sky at the moment the Sun was disappearing below the local horizon.
