I've been trying to find a spot in town where I can get a good night picture of Pikes Peak. Our town is garishly overlit so so far I've not been successful. In this attempt I had to crop the picture down to this size to get as much of the bleached out foreground as possible, but I like the way Orion, Sirius and Procyon stand out. Next I'll try to get them earlier in the evening so they're closer to the peak.
