The waxing gibbous moon seen here in Singapore some 390000 km away from our Earth when this photo was taken. The moon was about 97.0% full and though the rain clouds had form much later, managed to take shots of the moon. The moon was an evening moon rising from the East. The moon was photographed when a corona had form with pastel-colored rings around it with its central area called aureole. The aureole is often (especially in case of the Moon) the only visible part of the corona and has the appearance of a bluish-white disk which fades to reddish-brown towards the edge.
