This is the male pink-necked green pigeon (Treron vernans), a species of bird of the pigeon and dove family, Columbidae. The male is identified by its pink neck. Spotted this bird resting on a tree branch here solely. It is quite rare to see them unlike the rock pigeon and they usually appears in twos or fours. The colour contour of the bird is really fascinating and I was fortunate to have captured it from the comfort of my home.
