Clouds kept me from seeing Jupiter and Venus, on November 23, but they certainly made for a dazzling effect at sunset. This picture is not edited in any way. It looks like there was a fire blazing in the area but it was just the sunset light bursting through a narrow space between the horizon and the low, thick cloud cover above. Not the conjunction, but most welcome all the same! Thank you for your much appreciated work at EarthSky!
