My husband and I went down to Colorado Springs Friday evening to try to get a picture of Venus and Jupiter over Pikes Peak. We drove around for a long time trying to find a place where we would have a clear view over to the peak without interference from rush hours traffic. We were just about to give up when we found a spot in the North Gate neighborhood. It was bitter cold and we were standing in the snow with cars zooming by just off camera, but we got our shot.
