While trying to capture Leonid meteors I set the camera up on continuous exposure and just shot for about 4 1/2 hours, over 550 images in all. I got two nice meteors and made this star trail by stacking all 550+ photos. By using a low ISO of 400 the stars are not overexposed and you get a lot of color variation. Shooting north I had the moon behind me illuminating the foreground so I didn't have to blend foreground and sky in post.

Nikon Z6, Irix 15mm f/2.4 Firefly lens, Lonely Didymium Light Pollution Filter

Stacked 550+ images to make this star trail. Captured 2 Leonid meteors which are in the picture, though not so easy to find. Using a 30 sec exposure, f/3.2 and ISO 400 to allow the color of the stars to not be overexposed. Then all images are stacked in Photoshop and adjustements made to bring out the different colors.
