Nice demonstration of relationships to the Ecliptic (Earth's orbital path around the Sun).
The Moon's terminator is perpendicular to the Ecliptic.
Saturn's rings are in-line with it's orbital plane, which is more or less parallel to the Ecliptic.
The Moon crossed it's descending node 8hrs ago and is now on the South side of the Ecliptic.
Isn't Astronomy fun?
