Jupiter and the Galilean Moons.
The names we use today were chosen by german astronomer Simon Marius, but in the beginning were known as ”Cosmica Sidera” (Cosimo's stars) and ”Medicea Sidera” (Medician stars), honouring all four Medici brothers (Cosimo, Francesco, Carlo and Lorenzo).
